As in charge of the Zoology Department of Govt College (A) Anantapur, I could not refrain from praising the academic and social services of Dr. P. Giridhar. Dr Giridhar has been rendering yeoman service to the college in various capacities as an academician, PG Coordinator, and Red Ribbon Club Coordinator. He is the first person to arrange the activities like 1. Guest lectures  2. Field trips  3. Launching of certificate courses 4. Rallies  5. Blood donation camps 6. awareness camps. From 30th November to 1st December, Dr.P Giridhar hosted a plethora of activities. He took the students to the Department of Fisheries as a part of a field visit. He joined the rally on AIDS awareness along with district authorities on 1st December. He played a crucial role in spreading awareness of AIDS among the district youth. Dr P Giridhar also organized an awareness camp on the same for BZC students.
