The
Zoology lecturers' training session at NRC level commenced on March 11, 2024.
Dr. Jayappa from PS Govt Degree College, Penugonda, and Dr. G Rajasekar from
Govt College (A), Anantapur, served as the Key Resource Persons. Alongside,
numerous academic elites from the University of Hyderabad participated online.
Twenty-seven faculty members attended the sessions.
On
the second day, the training coincided with the College's Graduation Day,
graced by Commissioner Sir and other CCE Officials. Dr. Tulasi madam, the
Academic Guidance Officer, made a timely visit at 4:30 PM, sparking productive
discussions. Topics included introducing new majors like "Computational
Biology" and emphasizing market-oriented courses. Bridging gaps between
principals, faculty, and students regarding course introduction and
sustainability was addressed, stressing the need for strategic development.
Dr.
Tulasi madam advocated student involvement in Community Service Projects and
publication of their works in journals. She proposed creating a committee of
committed lecturers to publish a book on "Modus Operandi of Writing Research Articles." Progress on LMS work
was reviewed, with Dr. Tulasi madam advising trainers on Udemy Platform content
uploading methods, suggesting a visit to the college media center.
Following
discussions, Dr. Tulasi madam was felicitated by staff members, with a group
photo taken. Academic Coordinator Dr. Pallavi and NRC Coordinator Sri P C
Lakshmikanth graced the occasion.
