Internal
Academic Audit Team Visit

Today, a team of lecturers,
including Dr. T. Jitendra (IQAC Coordinator), Dr. E. Sreedevi (Academic
Coordinator), and myself, visited the science departments to assess their
preparedness for the upcoming academic audit scheduled on March 13, 2025. This
audit is regarded by academicians as a "mini-NAAC," making it a
significant exercise in academic quality assurance.
During our visit, we evaluated
the following departments:
- Electronics
- Physics
- Computer Science
- Statistics
- Geology
- Chemistry
- Mathematics
- Botany
- Zoology
- Biochemistry
I was truly impressed by the
dedication and effort demonstrated by the faculty members. The meticulous
documentation of events and academic activities was commendable. The warm and
professional reception from each department reflected their commitment and
enthusiasm. Visiting these departments provided valuable insights, helping
bridge gaps and foster stronger interdepartmental relationships. Such visits
facilitate a healthy and constructive exchange of knowledge, which is essential
for academic growth.
Several departments stood out for
their exemplary practices:
- Computer Science:
Maintained all relevant files in impeccable order, setting a benchmark in
file management. The moment our team stepped into the Department of
Computer Science, we were instantly immersed in its academic atmosphere.
The well-maintained laboratory, combined with the department's
professional and corporate-like environment, created an inspiring and
engaging space for students.
- Geology: Left no stone
unturned in adding value to their department.
- Chemistry: Demonstrated a spirited
approach in organizing and presenting documentation.
- Botany: Showcased impressive
skills in documenting seminars and field visits.
- Mathematics: Earned special
appreciation for maintaining a wealth of academic information through
blogs and YouTube, reflecting their commitment to innovation.
- Biochemistry:
Won accolades for its comprehensive documentation of student data,
academic progression, CIE, assignments, quizzes, and certificate courses.
- Physics & Electronics:
Were charged with full potential to serve the student community.
Overall, the faculty members
exhibited a remarkably positive and proactive attitude. Their dedication to
academic excellence and institutional development is truly matchless.
