        Training for Field Trainers deputed for CENSUS-2027 at Govt Arts College (A) Anantapur

The following is a review of the three-day training session conducted for Field Trainers for Census 2027, held from 23rd March to 26th March 2026.

The programme was inaugurated on 23rd March 2026 by the District Collector, Sri O. Anand, IAS. The inaugural session was graced by the District Revenue Officer, Sri Malola, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Sri Keshava Naidu, and other dignitaries.

The technical sessions that followed were effectively handled by the Master Trainers—Lakshmi Kala, Dr. S. Kiran, and  G. L. N. Prasad. The sessions were highly interactive and were delivered using visual aids such as PowerPoint presentations and videos.

The training covered key aspects including the historical significance of the Census, important concepts and definitions, use of the HLO App, HLB procedures, preparation of layout maps, and the etiquette to be followed by enumerators during fieldwork.

The hospitality extended during the training programme was commendable, both in terms of quality and service.

On 26th March 2026, fieldwork was conducted to simulate the process of enumeration, providing trainees with hands-on experience. The valedictory session was attended by the DRO, Sri Malola, who offered constructive guidance to the participants.

The training programme concluded with a group photograph, marking the successful completion of the session.
